Name: Johnny
Villain: Kurt
Master: Mom (Allison)
Setting: Today
Plot: Johnny, a blind boy, who has been raised by only his mother is the anit-hero. Because Johnny was different, she taught him to never compare himself to the other children. The villain, Kurt who has never been caught before, one day steals the old lady next door to Johnny's house's money. Town meeting, Johnny accuses Kurt, but Kurt counter attack.
Explanation: Because Johnny was blind, many people look down on him and did not respect him as much. When he was walking to the old lady's house like he does everyday to give her a visit, Kurt rushes out the door and gasp when he sees Johnny. I Want A Dragon

The class finished watching How To Train Your Dragon on Friday. I LOVE the movie. At first I was like, (-_-) "It's a cartoon movie..." then afterward, I was like, (^_^) "OMG! I love the movie!" This is my first time seeing the movie. To my surprise, it was really good and cute.

I have a big imagination, and I would not say it's a negative thing. We need more people in this world with big imaginations. Haha. I wish this life was like life in movies. If only dragons were real like in How To Train Your Dragon, potions and magic could be use like in Harry Potter, you could see ghost of the past, present, and future that teaches you lessons, or where a creature could come to live even with dead tissues, now that would be life. I want to ride a dragon. Even though I would be scare at first, but it would be the most exciting thing I probably will do in my life. Just imagine being high up in the sky holding onto a dragon, or just being able to touch a one. Haha. If I had a dragon of my own, it will be the color red and green...and maybe purple, or all metallic black and gray. The dragon would have sharp claws and teeth. Its eyes would glow when it's going to kill something. It would be the fastest flying creature in the air. My dragon would be tall and slim, but with great strength. But I was thinking, if these things are not real then how do they just come up with it. Big imagination?

Characters

I have always liked the Harry Potter series. I read the first series of Harry Pottter became a fan. When the first movie came out I just stopped reading and thought about just waiting to see the movie. I know the movie will not be exactly the same as the book is, but that is something I was willing to sacrifice. I do not read them anymore, but I can never wait for the movie to come out. I know, I am a fan and usually fans are real crazy, no offense, but I am not a crazy fan. I love to watch the movie, but I hate waiting for the movie to come out. I know Harry Potter is the main character, but in my opinion he does not have charisma. He does not define a hero to me in the series. When I think of a hero, I see someone strong, not just physically in all, but emotionally. Ron is like a weak small kid. I like Hermione and Ron more than I like Harry even though they are kids also, but I see their characters stronger than Harry. I think without Hermione and Ron, there would be no Harry.

From Richard

I remember reading one of Richard's blog about his fear. I cannot recall the exact date, but the class had a discussion about their fears. The only fear I remember in the class was Eric saying about how he was sacred of spiders. I was looking for something more than spiders, afraid of the dark, or afraid of monsters. I know Eric fear spiders and it's a big deal to him.

My biggest fears are:
  1. I'm afraid there will be no more rice crispy left in this world.
  2. I'm afraid I wont be able to have a good sleep
  3. I'm afraid I might not get a bite the next time I go fishing.
  4. I'm afraid all my shoes will go missing.
  5. I'm afraid one day I wake up and someone shaved all my hair off.
On the serious side:
  1. I'm afraid of my mom leaving the family.
  2. I'm afraid of failing at my own life.
  3. I'm afraid of losing every single person in my life.
  4. I'm afraid of not having anyone to run to.
  5. I'm afraid that I have fears.

Alice's Dresses

In this blog, I want to discuss a little about Alice's dresses and one of my dreams. I like Alice's dresses in Alice in Wonderland. Her outfit keeps changing, and I cannot remember the number of dresses she had. I just know I kept checking them out. Alice's dress had a lot of designs that I like. The one I favored first was the second blue dress that The Mad Hatter made for Alice. It was blue and had laces, and I like blue and laces. Also, I like it because of the big flower on the right. It's not something I would wear, but it gave more details to define the dress. The second dress that I favored was the one the Red Queen gave to Alice. I found it really pretty and unique. I wish I could wear all those dresses. Colleen Atwood is the designer of the outfits for Alice in Wonderland.

I used to wanted to be a designer because I love clothes. I used to cut my clothes, sew it in different ways, or add some funky stuffs to them. It was a difficult task for me at first, but I did not give up. It was something I wanted to do. I had my mom to help me from the start. She sews Hmong clothes for me, so she have experience and already know what to do. Sometimes I would help her sew the beads onto the clothes and other things. She helped me use the sewing machine. I remember the first time I used it, I had the fear of the machine sewing my fingers instead of the fabric. I found this girl on Youtube who taught me how to do a lot of different things to my own clothes, or I had to go buy fabrics and make new clothes. She was an inspiration to me. Then when I found a job and started working every other day, it was not only because I did not have much time for it anymore, but also because I was being lazy. My inspiration and mood had died.

A Christmas Carol

I worked with Mai Shong Lee and Abigail Chang on a group project for English class. We had to choose a book, present the author's life, and do an activity for the class. The book we chose was A Christmas Carol. I have to say, I do not like working with people who only gives a little participation. At first Abigail had told me what she thought about doing for our book, and I told her my idea. Later when we talked to Mai about it, she gave her idea too. So, we had three ideas and not knowing that we can have more than one day to do our book project, we limit our ideas. I was kind of mad at first because I felt they were not listening to me, so there was a moment when I just shut up and left them.

I had thought "Why didn't I just chose my guyfriends?"

I was kind of on my own. I searched for the author's life, the characters in A Christmas Carol, and bought the candies for my activity. That morning when it was our day to present, I had to explain everything to Abigail and Mai because I did this on my own. They told me what they were doing, so we had to fit everything together. The presentation was not horrible. There were many of laughter and participation, so overall it went well.

Pop Quiz

It was in February when the class had a pop quiz. The pop quiz was on Frankenstein. I was not quite ready for it. Well, I do not think I am ever ready for any pop quiz. I cannot remember a time when I passed a pop quiz. Maybe I never passed one before or my memory is just really bad. My memory is bad though. Well, that is kind of sad if I had never passed a pop quiz before.

I guess I fail reading quizzes because when I read, I do not pay attention to what I am reading. I do not want to force myself into doing something I do not want to or something I do not like. Sometimes I find myself reading, but thinking about something else. I do no know how that is possible, but I guess it is multitasking; only that I am not paying attention to what I was reading. Reading and thinking about something else, I do not know if it is actually possible, but it is pretty cool to me.
