A Christmas Carol

I worked with Mai Shong Lee and Abigail Chang on a group project for English class. We had to choose a book, present the author's life, and do an activity for the class. The book we chose was A Christmas Carol. I have to say, I do not like working with people who only gives a little participation. At first Abigail had told me what she thought about doing for our book, and I told her my idea. Later when we talked to Mai about it, she gave her idea too. So, we had three ideas and not knowing that we can have more than one day to do our book project, we limit our ideas. I was kind of mad at first because I felt they were not listening to me, so there was a moment when I just shut up and left them.

I had thought "Why didn't I just chose my guyfriends?"

I was kind of on my own. I searched for the author's life, the characters in A Christmas Carol, and bought the candies for my activity. That morning when it was our day to present, I had to explain everything to Abigail and Mai because I did this on my own. They told me what they were doing, so we had to fit everything together. The presentation was not horrible. There were many of laughter and participation, so overall it went well.

  1. Girl, Mai Shong and I thought you didn't want to listen to us. Everytime we had a little meeting or talk about it you don't participate til the end, or you just sit there.

  2. Excuse me. EVERY TIME we had a meeting? We had ONE meeting and it was that ONE time when I talked bout my ideas but you and Mai just went on bout yours. I didn't participate? Who was the only one who did research bout the author? Who was the only one that got the information for the group? Who was the only one that already got her stuff done? You should have just appreciated me not writing about everything.
